Bonnie Taylor Wachowicz is a fiction writer, working on her first novel. She lives with her husband and their Siberian Forest Cat, who rules the house and their lives.

Live Cheap, Dream Big is the working title/series title of the novel she is currently working on. This blog is her way of staying on track, corralling her ideas, and sharing what she learns in her research. She also shares behind-the-scenes work on her novel with readers.

Bonnie writes about strong, resilient women who create successful lives after surviving traumatic events. In this first novel, Elsie experienced traumatic events as a child relating to money – or the lack of it. As an adult she dreams of owning her own quilting studio, and she will do just about anything to make it happen. But dreams aren’t easy to manifest and each time she is close to opening her studio, something gets in the way.

In Another Life…

Bonnie opened her Virtual Assistant practice in 2003 after too many years in admin jobs. In 2009 she added in consulting and training. As a Constant Contact partner, she trained small business owners to use email marketing.

As a Profit From Your Passions licensed consultant Bonnie helped her clients to discover how to make a living doing what they love. Her favorite part of this coaching was finding ways to combine a multitude of interests into a profitable business.

Eventually she added in copywriting to her services. She wrote several guidebooks and training programs, including “How To Work With a Virtual Assistant” and “Ezines For The Solopreneur”.

In 2018 Bonnie retired her VA business and embraced the semi-retirement lifestyle. All of her previous experience forms the foundation for her novels.

She now spends most of her time quilting, sewing, gardening, camping, and writing. She and her husband live on an acreage near Edmonton, AB and are on Year 13-ish of a five-year renovation plan.
